FREE educational resources to download – new from the Celtic Rainforest project!

As part of the ‘Secrets of the Celtic Rainforest’ Project, Plantlife Scotland and storyteller Claire Hewitt have produced a storybook for Primary and Early Years children about the adventures of the Ghillie Dhu (the forest sprite that lives in the Celtic Rainforest) and the plants he meets along the way.

The story book is downloadable as a full colour version with lovely illustrations by Andrew Evans, as well as an ‘ink saver’ version. Accompanying the storybook there are Scottish curriculum-linked activities for children and background notes for teachers. Find all the resources here
