The scheme is being developed for the purposes of the Health and Safety in Employment (Adventure Activities) Regulations 2011 (the regulations).

The scheme is designed to give confidence that an adventure activity operator that is subject to the regulations is complying with the standards that have been specified by the Ministry to reduce the risks involved in providing adventure activities.
