New AALS Senior Inspectors

We’re delighted to have made the following appointments.

Owen Hayward has taken over as Senior Inspector with responsibility for Wales from John Cliffe.  John has been with us since the very beginning of Licence and before.  (He worked on the Wales Tourist Board pre-cursor scheme to licensing).  Owen was previously Head of North Wales Outdoor Education Service and Educational Visits Advisor for Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Wrexham, Anglesey and Gwynedd.

Jane Campbell Morrison will be taking over in March as the Senior Inspector with responsibility for Scotland from Bob Telfer.  Bob has also been with us since the very beginning of Licensing.  Jane is currently the Chief Executive Officer with Snowsport Scotland, and will be known to many as the current Chair of SAAF.

We are also sorry to say goodbye to two of our long standing free-lance inspectors, Sam Crymble and Sam Cook.  Sam Crymble has been free-lancing for us since he stepped back from his Senior Inspector post.  Sam Cook has been free-lancing with us since 2004.

Lots of changes!  We wish all concerned a most satisfying time in the new experiences and challenges they will each be taking on.
